BODY RICE NO BRASIL

BODY RICE foi seleccionado para a competição do festival de cinema Ibero-Americano no Brasil a decorrer nos próximos dias 1-8 de Junho 2007 e estará brevemente em competição no festival New Horizons na Polónia

Recorde-se que BODY RICE ganhou uma Menção Especial do Juri em Locarno 2006 na competição oficial, o Prémio para Melhor Realizador no festival internacional de cinema da cidade do México (FICCO) 2007, o prémio também de melhor realizador, na competição oficial do mítico BAFICI- Buenos Aires independent Film festival 2007, assim como o prémio Revelação nos Caminhos do Cinema Português 2007. O filme tem estado também igualmente presente em inumeras secções competitivas de festivais internacionais: Las Palmas, Crossing Europe (Austria), Hong-Kong international film festival 2007, Roterdam 2007, entre outras... .

Importantes foram também as critícas publicadas nos Cahiers du cinema e mais recentemente na Variety, artigos assinados por J-M. Frodon e Richard Koehler.

BODY RICE was selected for the competition of the Festival de Cinema Ibero-Americano in Brazil (1-8 june 2007) and will be in July in competition in Poland in the festival New Horizons.

BODY RICE won the Special Mention of the Jury at Locarno 2006 in the oficial competition, the prize BEST DIRECTOR in the Mexico City International Film Festival (FICCO) 2007, and was also awarded with the BEST DIRECTOR prize in the mitical BAFICI- Buneos Aires Independent Film Festival. Recently was also awarded at Portugal with the PRÉMIO REVELAÇÃO at Caminhos do Cinema Português 2007.

The film as been also regularly in the competition section of several festivals including, Las Palmas 2007, Linz (Austria) 2007, Hong-Kong international 2007, Rotterdam 2007, etc.

Important have been also reviews in Cahiers du cinema (J-M.Frodon) and Richard Koehler (Variety)
